Hi guys,

*waves her paw, smiling*

I’ve been chewing on some munchies today when I realized that it’s 2011! It’s a completely New Year, how wonderful is that? And you know what’s even more wonderful? It’s the Year of the Rabbit, a.k.a. ME 😀

*giggles & blushes a little, then puts on her reading glasses & clears her throat*

According to my research, the rabbit has represented hope of the Chinese people for a long time. It is tender and lovely. The moon goddess Chang’e in Chinese legend had a rabbit as her pet, which stimulated the thought that only the rabbit was amiable enough to match her noble beauty. The Chinese character ‘Tu’ (rabbit) is part of ‘Yi’ (escape or leisure) indicating speed and distance. The newborn babies are given paintings of children and rabbits representing that the child will have a peaceful and happy life.

So there, Hoppy New Year of the Rabbit to you guys! Let’s make it the Best one yet!! 🙂
